TREASURES OF TEXAS- Has
just been published by Limited Editions of America of
Whitehouse, Tennessee and they will produce State Symbol Prints
for all 50 States. This is the Print for Texas and I was
selected to produce the Painting because of my being designated
as the Official Texas State Artist for 2006. The Print features
Ten of the Official State Symbols of Texas and Three that I
thought were equally as important to the History of Texas; (the
Cowboy, the Windmill and the Oil Well). Limited Editions of
America has produced 1845 (the year Texas Entered the Union)
Signed and Numbered Prints and an Artist Proof for each County
in Texas. They plan to make sales calls at each Courthouse
and if they sell seven or eight at each, the Edition will sell
out.
The Limited Edition is sold FRAMED ONLY for $199 and
has cut outs in the matts that feature the Title, Texas Flag,
Texas Seal and both sides of the Texas Quarter. I told them that
they were selling this too cheap considering the elaborate
matting but due to all being Framed and Matted the same they can
offer it for the low price of $199. Size is 32 1/2" x 26
1/2", Matt colors can not be
changed, However I can change the Frame to Oak, Gold or
Weathered Wood for an additional $50.
