GRUENE HALL This is the Dance Hall that gave me the idea to do a Dance Hall Calendar. Gruene Hall was built in 1878 and is possibly Texas' most Famous Dance Hall and has been Featured in Numerous Movies and Television Shows. There is Hardly a well known Texas Country Music Band that hasn't performed there, Gruene claims to be the oldest continuously running Dance Hall in Texas but others make similar claims.
