“The Politician”  This is a Painting I've intended to paint for over 30 years and for some reason I've procrastinated. in 1973 when I worked across the street from the State Capitol, I photographed this Great Tailed Grackle all dressed in his black power suit, puffed up and promising who knows what and I immediately thought he was a natural born Politician. This year while researching my files I stumbled on to my photograph and got over my procrastination!- GEORGE BOUTWELL
