PALO DURO CROSSING- I discovered Palo Duro Canyon in the Texas Panhandle several years ago and was totally amazed by it's grandeur. As we crossed the creek that is part of the headwaters of the Red River, I noticed horses and riders on a riding trail. The scene had a timeless quality and provided the inspiration for this painting!
